As we know, electricity is not physically visible, so it can be a common error of many to turn a blind eye to the condition of electrical items and /or installations based at your premises. Especially when dealing with a DB hidden away in a plant room or shelved up high in a cupboard. Old and faulty wiring is absolutely one of the main causes of fires in the workplace, alongside faulty electrical appliances.

One sure-fire way of counteracting these known faults, is to have a skilled and competent electrical professional carry out what is known as Fixed Wire Testing, this to obtain your Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR).
