Job: Electrical Operative 

The successful candidate for Electrical Operative will play an important role in the maintenance of client buildings, equipment, and site services.

 

As Electrical Operative you will work as a member of the on-site electrical team working alongside other maintenance operatives in the Electrical, Mechanical, Building & Services team.

 

You will be expected to undertake portable appliance testing, air conditioner servicing, emergency light testing and building surveys, along with other building maintenance services as and when required.

 

No prior experience is required as full training will be provided across all services.

Applicants must be willing to travel all over the UK - Must be flexible.

Transport will be provided.

29 days annual leave including bank holidays, with an additional day a year for every years full service.

Starting Salary £22,000

What we require from you:

  • To assist with all works involving mechanical and building repairs

  • Complete all report sheets as necessary

  • Interpret and follows regulations at all times

  • Assist undertaking installations and/or enabling works

  • Use of all relevant PPE, tools and equipment within safety guidelines as necessary for the works provided

Qualifications, knowledge, and expertise required:

  • Full clean driver’s license

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English

  • Able to work as part of a team, as well as work autonomously

  • Good customer service and communication skills

  • Computer literate to complete compulsory Health and Safety online modules

  • Personal organisation

  • Attention to detail

  • Works well under pressure
