The challenge
The initial mobilisation required a comprehensive review of multiple sites to assess legacy issues, non-compliant installations, and poorly maintained passive fire measures. Coordinating work across live, operational buildings with minimal disruption to staff and operations was essential, requiring detailed planning, clear communication, and strict adherence to health and safety protocols.
The outcome
We successfully delivered high volumes of passive fire protection works to strict quality standards, helping SSE remain fully compliant with BS 9999, Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order, and relevant building regulations. As a result of consistently strong performance, Protest ES Ltd was awarded an additional 7-year term, demonstrating our long-term reliability and trusted partnership approach.
