Protest ES Ltd were chosen by Specsavers to deliver a programme of PAT testing across a number of stores.
Much of the equipment that required testing was extremely intricate and sensitive, and our engineers are experienced with this type of testing, and showed great understanding.
We’ve been a family-run business for over 35 years, working together with our store partners to provide the best value optometry, audiology and other healthcare service for our customers.
You’ll find us in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Spain, Australia and New Zealand, employing over 38,000 people who work across our 2,293 stores, as well as in our support offices and throughout the supply chain.
In 1983, Doug and Mary Perkins started the business on a table in their spare room, after a change in UK regulations allowed professionals to advertise their products and services for the first time. Nowadays, we’re proud to offer affordable eyecare and hearing services to customers across the globe.
Protest Es Ltd carried out a programme of PAT testing in order to achieve the following:
Achieve compliance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 with a structured PPM
Meet the insurance companies requirements following the internal audit
Ensure that any potential health and safety issues are quickly addressed and highlighted
Collation of electrical documents for the whole site are safely held electronically in one place
Paperless reporting that can be held and viewed at all times securely online
Peace of mind for the duty holder(s) who are deemed responsible for health and safety
We are proud to be responsible for inspecting and testing in large chains such as Specsavers, and this provides a different set of challenges to independent facilities, providing great experience across the board for our engineers and office teams.
